Associate Professor Audrey Chia is a Senior Consultant in Ophthalmology at the Singapore National Eye Centre (SNEC) and a leader in the Paediatric Ophthalmology and Adult Strabismus Department. She specializes in paediatric ophthalmology, strabismus, cataract surgery, and comprehensive ophthalmology, treating conditions like amblyopia, childhood myopia, and strabismus in children. She has extensive experience and expertise in managing visual health, focusing on myopia control, strabismus, and related eye disorders.

Associate Professor Chia completed her MBBS with honours at the University of Sydney and further training in paediatric ophthalmology at the renowned Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children. She is actively involved in research at the Singapore Eye Research Institute (SERI) and has published numerous studies in her areas of expertise. As an academic leader, she serves as an Associate Professor at SingHealth Duke-NUS Ophthalmology & Visual Sciences Academic Clinical Programme, contributing to the education and training of future ophthalmologists.
