Dr. Irene Chua is a leading Obstetrician and Gynaecologist in Singapore, practicing at Gleneagles Hospital and Mount Elizabeth Novena Hospital. With a specialization in gynaecological surgery and endoscopy, Dr. Chua is renowned for her expertise in minimally invasive techniques, often referred to as keyhole surgery.

She earned her Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery from the National University of Singapore and is a Fellow of the Royal College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (London) and the Academy of Medicine, Singapore. Previously, she served as a senior consultant in the Minimally Invasive Surgery Unit at KK Women’s & Children’s Hospital.

Dr. Chua was the first female gynaecologist awarded the Health Manpower Development Plan scholarship to train in advanced laparoscopic surgery in France. She is also a senior clinical lecturer and actively involved in training O&G specialists across the region.
